The AxisTD Story Is Our Purpose

A group of entrepreneurial sales practitioners, all top performers, set out in 2011 with a mission to help client organizations grow their business by developing the capabilities of their salespeople; in a fresh, innovative, more powerful way. They started from a solid belief that people performance drives business performance, and they knew through deep experience that a highly trained and engaged workforce is the differentiator between a low- and high-performance organization.

They also knew because of the fast-paced, ever-changing selling environment that organizations wanted sales force learning and development opportunities that delivered rapid, measurable, and sustainable changes in behavior that immediately impacted the top and bottom lines.

So after much discussion, debate, and research—Axle Sales Partners, LLC and the proprietary 60/20/20 Sales Approach™; were born. The founders saw the company grow because its core purpose made sense to clients, as did the impressive results that Axle helped clients realize.

In 2022, because of the changing business environment and to better serve clients' needs, the founders decided to expand the company's service offerings (while keeping in mind their original belief: people performance drives business performance). Five new service offerings were added: Team Development, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Development Coaching, Training for Government; and Inclusion, Equity and Diversity (IE&D). In addition, the company name was changed to Axis Talent Development, LLC (doing business as AxisTD) to more accurately reflect its purpose.

What makes AxisTD unique? According to the founders: "We want to build a company where we use our combined 50-plus years of actual talent development expertise to deliver impactful, people-focused (helpful) services that can be aligned with a client's organizational strategy, culture, and goals." (This is, as the founders see it, the gap in the market.) It's also what sets our company apart from most others.

But mainly, we get it. It's not about us. It's about your people and organizational performance improvement needs. We fully understand that the satisfaction of your needs is our mission; something more and more clients have also come to realize each and every engagement. Besides, we like helping organizations improve and reach peak performance because we've walked in your shoes. We do what we do because it’s ingrained in us; it’s in our DNA.
