Lynda is an accomplished HR leader with 30 years of significant expertise in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO); Inclusion, Equity and Diversity; Talent Management, including employee and organizational development, and Talent Acquisition program development and management. In her various human resource roles, she developed a broad understanding of management theories and concepts and their relationship to organizational behavior; and the ability to translate strategy into tactics with the goal of organizational transformation and improvement.
Before AxisTD, Lynda served as the Assistant Regional Director, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Programs for the National Park Service. In this role, she advised the Regional Director on systemic issues related to equal employment and DEI; consulted with regional teams and organizations to advise on DEI strategies to increase workforce diversity and develop initiatives to advance inclusive policies and practices; and coached and consulted with managers and employees to address issues and advance a proactive approach to resolving workplace conflict.
She has also served in other high-profile roles such as Director, Office of EEO and Diversity; Recruitment and Cooperative Education Program Manager, and Senior Compensation Analyst for different organizations.
Lynda is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and was a subgroup leader for the creation of the HRCI HR Body of Knowledge. She is a CoachDiversity Institute graduate, holds a Leadership Assessment Certification from the Center for Creative Leadership, is an Everything DiSC® Assessment Certified Practitioner, and a Certified Fearless Organization Scan Practitioner. Lynda earned an M.A. degree in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University and a B.A. degree in Sociology from Jackson State University.
